WORLD CHAMPION WADE DESARMO TO DEFEND HIS TITLE AGAINST
PHILADELPHIA’S JAMAL SMITH.
Montreal, Qc (August 1st, 2016) – The World Championship Game of Skate presented by Dime and Vans will take place on August 6th 2016 in Montreal in conjunction with the Glory Challenge.

Current World Champion Wade Desarmo’s chess-like strategy and unmatched board control will be put to the test against Jamal Smith’s visionary approach to flatground skating. In typical World Championship Game of Skate style, ‘’street fight’’ rules and regulations will be in effect as thousands of fans watch in awe.

"In 2016, the World Championship Game of Skate title is the only title that actually means anything in skateboarding, other than Thrasher’s Skater of the Year"

- Tony Vitello, Thrasher Magazine

"My whole life has been leading up to this moment. My dream of becoming a champion and quitting my day job will finally come true."
- Jamal Smith

"I had to bury my dog. I dedicate this game of skate to him. I am gonna rip Jamal's heart out cause I'm the best ever."
- Wade Desarmo, in regards to Jamal Smith.
